Enigma: codes and codebreaking (Cambridge Science Festival)

Date:
Saturday, 20 March 2010 - 12:00pm - 4:00pm

The Enigma cipher was one of the most powerful weapons of WWII - an apparently unbreakable code. How did a small group of mathematicians crack it? Come and see a demonstration of a genuine WWII Enigma machine, and try your hand at breaking different codes used throughout 2500 years of history.

Part of the Cambridge Science Festival. No need to pre-book - drop in between 12 noon and 4pm.
